Deal check gives you a way to understand how a deal is progressing at a glance without leaving ctrl, showing data live pulled directly from the deal in HubSpot CRM.
It’s available to view from the forecast area and from the triage panel in an event canvas.
Clicking the deal name will bring up the panel on the right.
First up at the top you’ll see basic info: the deal name, owner, close date and current stage. Below this you can see individual cards that help you get a picture of different kinds of data to help you spot potential risks.
Progression
This card helps you look out for deals stalling and slipping.
Days left until close is a count of how many days between today and the close date. It turns red if the close date is past.
If the close date has been changed, the slippage value is the number of days between the current date and the previous one.
A progress bar shows a light green indicator for the current stage so you can see how far along the pipeline it is, above a count for days in stage so you can consider if it’s been sitting there longer than you expected.
Interaction
Use this card to spot a deal that’s gone quiet.
Days since last contact shows a count of how long since any email or call, either inbound or outbound.
Depending on your prospects’ buying process, you might expect to see multiple contacts on a deal so you can check that here too.
Get an idea of how “busy” the deal is with a count and breakdown of activities and understand if it needs more or less of any particular type of interaction.
Success plan
Check that the rep knows what to do next here.
You’ll see if there’s no next task set or if there is one, check the due date and the details to make sure it’s more specific than the dreaded “follow up”.
Forecast impact
This card helps you understand how the deal might affect your forecast.
You can compare the rep’s confidence rating (from a triage) with the stage probability percentage in HubSpot. Look out for the high probability ones that they have rated amber, or haven’t rated at all to understand where this might create a gap between the HubSpot forecast totals and the rep’s “most likely” total.
This card also shows the direction of the latest change in value if it has been edited, so you can see if it’s been increased or decreased by looking for a red or green indicator arrow.
